Relations between LMF and TMF

At the workshop on acquiring and representing multilingual specialized lexicons at LREC 2006, held in Genoa, Italy, on May 23, 2006, there was a discussion of the relationshop between LMF and TMF. Some participants felt that there should be no connection between the two standards. Others felt that it would be desirable to provide a conversion mechanism between an LMF-conformant database and a TMF-conformant database.
